Chapter 13 -> Two Toppings On My Pizza

Jhené: how did you even hear that song?

Nicki: I have my ways why didnt you tell me you were an artist?

Jhené: I'm not its just something I do in my spare time, something I do the clear my head so maybe I can think straight for a few mins. Im no big star like you

Nicki: doesnt matter you still could have told me

Jhené: ok yeah I could have but...

Nicki: But what?!

Jhené just sat looking at her and so did her other friends.

Lauren: ok then.. are we ready to leave or are y'all gonna have another round of drinks?

Nicki: You guys can order. I'll be right back

she said getting up and walking towards the restrooms. Jhené ran her hands through her hair.

Jhené: Tequila on the rocks please. I'll be right back

Lauren and Candi ordered their drinks, told the waiter to bring the drinks by when the other ladies returned and then sat talking

(Meanwhile in the bathroom)

Jhené walked in to find Nicki washing her hands at one of the sinks. she walked over to her and just stood there looking at her as she dried her hands.

Jhené: Nic, Im sorry I didnt tell you. I dont usually open up about my singing or my writing, period. Not even the girl I just broke up with knew about that hobby. Yeah she's heard me in the shower a few times but thats normal. A lot of people sing in their showers.

Nicki didnt even turn and look at her.

Jhené: Nicki..

Still no response she just stood there reapplying her lipstick. She didnt even really now why she was mad at Jhené either. She just knew she was. She turned after smacking her lips together and walked out leaving Jhené standing there.

Jhené took a $50 from her bag and walked out of the bathroom. She walked over to the table and put it down

Jhené: It was nice seeing you girls again but Ima leave. I have some work to go over. This should cover my drink

With that she walked off. Lauren and Candi looked to Nicki

Candi: you mind telling us what the fuck that was all about cause Im just.. I dont wanna make assumptions right now.

Nicki: How about we just drink and leave and you mind your fucking business Candi huh? How about that?

Nicki: ok barbz, its was nice chilling with you but I'm tired so byyyyyyyyyye *waves and giggles* Faree come say by to the barbz

she said as she wrapped up  the ustream. After he did Nicki made a crazy face at the screen, stuck her tongue out then closed down her mac book. Safaree was laying down on his back behind her when she turned around.

Nicki: ok what do you wanna do?

she asked straddling his lap

SB: didnt you just tell the barbz you were tired and that you're going to bed?

Nicki: yeah but that was caus didnt wanna stay on ustream anymore. I wanna do some thing with you.

He sighed and closed his eye

Nicki: the fuck is that for?! you know what dont even answer. Just get the fuck out!

SB: Nic chill Im just tired but if you really wanna do something then no problem. So what do you have in mind

Nicki: here's what I have in mind.. Get the fuck out I wanna go to  bed!!

She walked to her closet and changed into a t-shirt then came back and got under the covers. He shook his head as she pulled the covers over her body

Nicki: turn the light off on your way out.

He woke up the next morning and made her breakfast. When he was heading up to see if she was awake he heard her shower running. He walked into her room and made her bed and went back down to the living room to wait for her. Minutes later she walked down the stairs in some shorts and a fitted tshirt. She rolled her eyes at him when he told her good morning.

SB: I made you breakfast

Nicki: thanks

she said as she walked into the kitchen. He walked in behind he and she was about to get a plate when he told her to sit and let him do it. He put a bit of everything on her plate  then made himself a plate. He poured them both glasses of orange juice then handed her her food before sitting at the table to eat. when they were done he cleared the dishes and put them in the dishwasher. She got up to leave teh kitchen

SB: Nicki wait

She stopped and turned around to him with her arms crossed at her chest. He walked up to her.

SB: I didnt mean anything last night I really was just tired you know I love spending time with you even if we're just sitting idly staring at a blank wall.. Not that we've ever done that but yeah you know what I mean

She tried her hardest to hide her smile but her reached for her chin and made her look at him. He kissed her and bit her lip slightly a light moan escaped her mouth

SB: so do you forgive me?

She shook her head yes and kissed him. He lifted her up bridal style and carried her up to her bedroom.

Nicki: *giggles* Faree stooooop!! Aint you had enough?

SB: Nope!

He said quickly then placed his head back between her legs.

Nicki: Far-Fuck!! Aah!!

He smiled to himself as he continued pleasing her with his tongue. Within minutes he had her legs shaking and her back arched as she rode out her sixth orgasm. He came up smiling. She glared at him.

Nicki: If that bite left a mark Ima kill you.

SB: Why It's not like anyone is seeing between these thighs but me.

She rolled her eyes.

SB: Come on lets go shower

Nicki: carry me she said reaching up with her arms

He looked at her questioningly.

Nicki: Stay acting like you dont know why.

He smiled and carried her to the bathroom and stepped into the shower before setting her down to stand. He turned the water on and caressed her body as the water ran over them. Her grabbed her shower gel and poured some in his hand them rubbed it all over her. She was so turned on, she just closed her eyes and enjoyed he feeling as she lay back against his chest. Her hair was getting wet but at the moment she didnt give a shit. After washing her body and washing his they stood under the warm water as it rinsed the soap away. She turned around to face him and put her arms around his neck. He reached behind her and turned the shower off.

SB: Your hair's gonna take forever to dry if you let it get too wet.

She just looked up at him.

Nicki: I have to tell you something

SB: Im listening

Nicki: its about Jhené and I

He didnt say a word and she couldnt read his facial expression. He wanted so bad to scream at her right now but he couldnt find it in himself to do it. He wondered what it could be and debated in his mind how he would react based on what he assumed she was going to say.

Nicki: we kissed. Again.

She felt his muscles in his shoulder and neck stiffen.

Nicki: Faree please dont be mad.

He didnt say anything he just rested his forehead against hers and closed his eyes.

Nicki: say something please

But he didnt. He looked up at her and began kissing her again before lifting her and resting her back against the shower wall. He slowly slid her down on him and fucked her, no words from him but the shower filled with her moans.

SB: are you ready to go?

That was the first he had said anything to her since she told him about kissing Jhené. They were all meeting up at Candi's to chill for the evening. Jhené was to bring that cute waiter Juan. They got in the car and rode in silence to their friends place.

When they got there everyone else had arrived. Candi greeted them at the door and as Nicki looked in her eyes met Jhené's. Jhené quickly looked away. Juan was sitting beside her looking quite shy. They came in and greeted everyone and sat down to join the conversation. Jhené spent most the evening avoiding Nicki.

Juan: Girl why are you standing out here by yourself?

Jhené: Jusut needed a little time alone

She gave him a weak smile.

Juan: I've noticed you havnt spoken to Nicki all night. What's up with that?

She looked away from her friend before answering

Jhené: Its nothing Juan I've not been in a talking mood.

Juan: come the hell on you know I know you better than that

He walked over and stood infront of her

Juan: what's really going on?

She looked down at the drink in her hand

Juan: *gasps* No! Dont tell me? Né

He said dragging out her name. She rolled her eyes and he could see the tears forming. Just then they heard the click of heels step onto the board floor of the backyard gazebo.

Nicki: Hey Juan do you think you can give us a few mins please

Juan: uh sure HB

He said with a smile and looked back at Jhené before leaving the two.

Nicki: you've been avoiding me

Jhené: with the vibe I've been getting from Safaree I think that's best.

Nicki: *sigh* He's been giving me a vibe too. It's cause I told him about our kiss

Jhené turned around and looked at her.

Jhené: and?

Nicki: and he didnt say anything. I did get that he was upset but he hasnt said anything about it.

She turned away from Nicki again.

Nicki: I'm sorry

Jhené for what?

Nicki: my reaction. I just, I don't know why I was so upset.

Jhené it's fine.

They stood silently for a while

Nicki: you have a beautiful voice

Jhené Thank you.

She turned around and gave Nicki a small smile before she started to walk away

Nicki: wait

She held her by her arm and she slowly turned around. Nicki stepped closer to her

Nicki: you've gotta stop avoiding me in there you're gopnna make my girls suspect something and I'm really not for the questions because honestly I dont know what it is about you but I know I feel something

Jhené Nic..

Nicki put her finger on her lip and she stopped talking. She then replaced her finger with her lips and when she pulled away Jhené just stood there holding her breath because she wasnt sure ho wto react.

Nicki: breathe baby *giggles*

Nicki gave her a peck on the lips before walking around her to go back inside when she was greated by two pairs of shocked eyes. She rolled hers as stood looking at her friends who had come to find out why the two were gone so long. What made it worst is it wasnt the two nosey bugs she had expected. At least they had a clue something was going on between her and Jhené. It was TT and Thembi.

Nicki: what are you two doing out here?

TT: tryna find out why your ass been gone so long but its obvious now.

TT said folding her arms across her chest. Thembi just stood there still in shock.

TT: Nicki what the hell?!! Are you two seeing each other? Does Safaree know about this?! Why did i not know about this?

Nicki: No.. umm kinda and because there is nothing to know Tyesha.

TT: nothing to know! You're cheating on him... with a woman. The woman who the last time I met her you almost had a fit because you thought they were dating.

Nicki: *sigh* TT there's nothing going on. Can we not mention this when we go inside please?.... Please??

TT: whatever.

She said and walked off

Nicki: Thembi?

Thembi: Honestly, I dont even know what I saw happen. I dont know what's going on with you Nic but Safaree needs to know. Dont worry I wont say anything.

She left after saying her piece. Nicki turned around and asked Jhené if she was ok and if she was coming inside. She responded saying yes and told her she'd come in in a few.

The rest of the evening went pretty well. They sat chatting, drinking and laughing. Until Jhené and Juan had to leave. They said their goodbyes and Candi walked them to the front door.

Candi: hey may I have a few seconds before you leave

Jhené: sure

 She gave Juan her car key and Candi stepped out pulling up the door behind her before she began talking.

Candi: whatever it is between and Nic I want you to know that I'm cool as long as you dont hurt her.

Jhené: Candice there...

Candi: stop... even if there isnt right now. There will be. I see how you two look at each other. Just.. look all I'm asking is that you dont hurt her. even if you two just remain friends.

Jhené: I wont.

Candi: thank you. Drive carefully

Jhené I will. Good night.

When she stepped back inside Nicki was standing a few centimetres away from the door. She put on a smile

Candi: where are the rest of the crew?

Nicki: they went out back. what was that about?

Candi: just looking out for my friend.

Nicked tilted her head to the side and widened her eyes.

Candi: its cool. I just told her not to hurt you.

She said and walked passed Nicki

Nicki: so you're ok with this?

She asked turning around quickly. Candi just smiled at her and she grinned back. There was a knock at the door so Nicki checked the peephole then opened it

Jhené: forgot my coat

She grabbed it from the coat rack then walked back out.

Nicki: arent you forgetting something else?

Candi: umm Nic. I'll be out back

Nicki: ok

Jhené: umm *smiles*.. I should have everything with me if I dont then-

Her sentence was interrupted when Nicki pulled her into a kiss.

Nicki: so you were gonna leave without telling me goodbye

Jhené: Nicki I dont wanna come between you and Safaree. I couldnt do that

Nicki: You wont be. Just let me handle Faree and I'll talk to you tomorrow ok?

Jhené: *sigh* tomorrow.

Nicki ked her lips again. She closed the door as Jhené drove off and turned around to head out when she saw Safaree sitting on Candi's living room couch with his head down. She stopped walking and just looked at him.

Nicki: baby...

He got up and walked towards the front door, opened it and left.

Nicki: God!! What the am I doing?!!!!

She ran her hands through her hair.
