Chapter 22 --> Stalker

When she walked into the room he was on the phone. His back was towards the door so he didn’t notice her.

SB: I’m not giving you her number you said you wouldn’t do this…… yeah and?.....She’s fine I told you that nothing has changed…..then why do you need it so badly?..... I’m sorry but you’re not gonna get it from me… Look I have to go

Nicki: who was that?

She asked startling him.

Nicki: you sounded pretty upset

SB: No one… Important

She raised her brows at him

Nicki: Ima ask you that again, who was that?

He sighed before answering her

SB: it was Leah

Nicki: What’d she want?

He didn’t respond

Nicki: I see your slow and your stupid are on high today. What… Did... She...Want?!

SB: A number for-

Nicki why the fuck does she want Jhené’s number? She changed it for a reason

SB: I never said-

Nicki: don’t talk to me like I’m stupid

She said cutting him off again

SB: she said she just wants to know how she is, to say hi

Nicki: she’s fine did you think to tell her that? And since we’re on the topic of Miss Leah I’d like to know what kind of business she was helping you with in Miami?  Oh and you can tell me why, since you’re talking to her for “business”, she is calling your personal number? Why does she even have that number?

SB: Nic can we not do this right now please?

Nicki: oh?! No Safaree! We are gonna do it right the fuck now!

He started to walk away

Nicki: you think I’m playing don’t you?

SB: look-

Nicki: no you look. Be very careful of the answers you give me when I’m done with what I’m saying right now cause saying the wrong shit gon get you fucked up! Play with me!

**MEANWHILE** (lmaoooo @ y’all cursing me out for stopping it right there)

“Baby, hey I’m back in town. Can you text me back when you see this please”

“Babe come on. It’s me Leah. Text me back”

Her phone began to ring.

“Jhenny, baby answer your phone”

“Look Safaree told me you were ok. I just wanna hear your voice, hear it from you”

Her phone rang again.

“Can you please just answer one of my phone calls? Please, I just wanna know how you’re doing”

“*sigh* Jhen, I know you see my messages”

“Baby look, I’m going to be honest. I miss you. I just want to hear your voice”

“Why are you ignoring me?L”

“Jhen, I’m sorry I cheated on you, I’m sorry I hit you, I’m sorry… about the baby :’(. I just wanna make things right between us. Forgive me please. Just give us one more chance”

“Baby, please. I’ll do anything to get you back!”

“Amber isn’t half the woman you were to me baby. I’m sorry”

 She sighed as her phone began to ring again.  She couldn’t take it anymore so she turned it off. She lay there thinking how did she get my number? About the baby, how could she even ask for a second chance? She was pulled from her thoughts when she heard Lauren calling her name

Lauren: Jhené… Jhené!

Jhené: hmm

Lauren: are you ok?

Jhené: yeah ok just not feeling well

Lauren: what?

Jhené: sorry I mean…I’m gonna go lay down

TT, Lauren, Candi and Terrence all looked at each other as she got up. When she got to her room she slowly climbed into the bed, lay on her back and put her hand over her eyes. She felt like she was about to have the worst headache ever.  A few minutes after, she heard a light knock on the door.

Jhené: who is it?

She asked in a soft tone, but loud enough for the person on the other side to hear

Lauren: It’s me. May I

Jhené: yeah sure

Lauren walked in and closed the door behind her.

Lauren: you’re ok but you’re not feeling well? Come on, talk to me. What’s up?

Jhené: I really don’t feel like talking about this right now

Lauren: sounds like something Nika would say, *walks over to window and folds arms* only I never listen when she does. Same goes for you. So what’s really up?

Jhené: have you ever finally got over something or someone and they just pop back up?

Lauren: yeah. Does this have something to do with Leah?

She sat up in the bed looking at Lauren

Jhené: What do you know about my ex?

Lauren: Safaree ran into her in Miami. He said she helped him out with some business but he wouldn’t say what.

Jhené: He wouldn’t. No. He knows. He wouldn’t.

Lauren: wouldn’t what? What does he know?

Before she could answer Tay came bursting through the bedroom door looking as angry as ever.

Tay: why the fuck does this bitch have my number?

Jhené: Tayihé Okole, watch your mouth! Who are you talking about?

Tay: Leah! How the- How she get my number?

Jhené: she called you?

Jhené asked with raised eyebrows.

Tay: this b- *takes deep breath* She sent me ten text messages. “Where’s your sister?”, “why isn’t she answering my calls?”, “Why won’t she text me back?”, “Can you please tell her to call me”, “Tayihé are you there?”, “Why are you guys ignoring me?”, “I just wanna know how she is”, “Lil girl I know you see my messages” then she drops the “*sigh* ok fine just tell her I love her please” oh, oh, oh then she drops the bomb “how long will y'all be at the cabin?” the fuck? The actual fuck?? How does she know where we are?

Jhené: what?!

Tay: If she ever knew how much I’m itching to finish what I started in your hospital room

Jhené: Tay… *sigh*… Where’s Safaree

She asked in a sad voice

Lauren: he’s with Nicki.

Jhené: ok…

She turned and walked over to the big glass window.

Jhené: Can you guys please…

Her voice cracked and a tear ran down her cheek as she stood looking out at the lake.

Tay: Jhen-

Jhené: *wipes cheek* Tay just go with Lauren please.

Nicki walked into the Kitchen to see Lauren, Candi, TT and Terrence talking with MJ sitting on the counter in front of them. They stopped once they saw her.

Nicki: why y'all look so suspicious

Terrence: girl bye! Why you look so angry? Ain't nobody in here looking suspicious.

Nicki: Terrence shut the hell up. Where is my baby?

Candi: which one?

Nicki: the one I left with y’all. *shakes head* you were suppose to keep her company

Lauren: In her room

Candi: How much we getting paid to entertain?

Nicki threw a grape at her but it hit MJ in the head instead. He whipped his head around and looked at her then looked for the grape

Nicki: *giggles* I’m sorry auntie’s baby

TT mean mugged her as she threw the grape in the trash

Nicki: Candi shouldn’t you be somewhere getting your cuka licked?? Speaking of, where is that smart mouth…. One

She finished as Tay walked into the kitchen, over to the fridge, took out a bottle of Dasani and walked back out

Terrence: here we go

He said getting up as Candi did

Candi: I’ll be back

She said as she head for her room

Nicki: what’s up with them?

Lauren: Where’s Safaree?

Nicki rolled her eyes

Candi walked into her bedroom to hear Tay on the phone cursing someone out

Tay: Bitch you got lucky security pulled you out my sister’s room you won’t be so lucky the next time!! Stop calling me! Stop calling my sister and you stay the fuck away from Nicki. I don’t know what you and Safaree have going on but that shit gon get cut short. Don’t fucking play with me!!

She hung up

Tay: uuuuuuuuughhh!!!!!!!!!

Candi: whoa! What was that about?

Tay: Bitch fixin to lose her life...

Tay said walking over and hugging Candi

 Candi: That was Leah wasn’t it?

Tay: Lauren told you?

Candi: yeah she did

Tay: I just… God! I don’t even wanna think about her right now.

Candi: Then don’t. I doubt she’ll do anything crazy

Tay: she already has

Candi: what do you mean?

Tay: she was up here. She told me.

Candi: she’s probably lying

Tay: Did TT walk MJ down to the lake earlier?

Candi: yeah

Tay: She was watching them.

Candi: what?

Tay scrolled through her phone and found the picture Leah had sent her of Tyesha pointing to the boat she was trying to get MJ to look at. The picture seemed to have been taken from inside a vehicle.

Candi: Oh My God! Nicki has to know about this

Tay: not yet and don’t tell Jhen either please I don’t want to make this trip any worst.

Candi: but-

Tay: Trust me.

She said then slowly walked over to the bed pulling Candi onto her lap and kissing her neck

Tay: I’ll take care of Leah

Candi: Tay... Mmm

She couldn’t finish her sentence as Tay sucked on her neck. She turned around and straddled her lap kissing her. Tay snapped a picture.

Candi: *giggles* what are you doing?

Tay: care to spill some tea?

Candi raised her eyebrow as she looked at her

Tay: they’ve been asking… Only if you don’t mind

Candi: … aight

Tay tweeted the picture

Then she went back to kissing Candi. Her phone was buzzing like crazy. The barbz were sassing and cussing her out in her mentions no doubt. She laid back, Candi on top kissing her. Then she stopped.

Candi: Shit!

She said with her head in Tay’s neck

Tay: what’s wrong?

Candi: I didn’t tell him. He’s gonna see the picture

When Safaree knocked on the door he didn’t get an answer. He opened it and peeked inside she was sitting on the bed, her legs crossed beneath her looking out the windows. He walked over to her a brown envelope in his hand

SB: I have some explaining to do

She looked at him

SB: firstly, I got this for you. She didn’t tell me what it was and honestly I wasn’t sure if I should give you and that is why I kept it.

Jhené: what is that?

She asked her voice hoarse.

SB: She said it’s something you would want

He said handing it to her

SB: look she told me she wouldn’t do anything like this. I know I was stupid to believe her but I thought since she had Amber maybe she was being straight with me. She asked me for you number I didn’t give it to her. She claims-

Jhené: she already has it

SB: has what?

Jhené: she has my number and Tay’s. She even knows where we are.

SB: what?! Look I promise I’ll take care of it. She won’t hurt you again.

Jhené just smiled and shook her head. She ripped the large envelope open and pulled out a black and white picture. Tears ran down her cheek. He sat beside her on the bed and pulled her into a hug as he slowly pulled the small piece of paper from her hand

SB: I’m sorry

He said as she cried silently into his chest. After a moment he pulled her away and wiped her tears with his thumb. Now he regretted giving her that envelope. He was looking at her as he looked back at him eyes blurry with tears and before he knew it his lips were on hers.  She pushed him away and scooted away from him on the bed, her hand on her lips

Jhené: Leave!

SB: Jhené I’m so-

Jhené: GO!

He got up and turned to walk out only to see Nicki standing in the doorway, he couldn’t read the expression on her face.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHH SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIID
